Nǐ hǎo

Classmate Jun Vigo was in China, Hongkong and Macau recently for a business trip and here are some of the photos of that visit. To see more, please visit his Facebook account or our online photo gallery.

We hope that Jun was also able to get in touch with her millions of long-lost relatives in those places. 🙂

Second honeymoon?

Jun and Zeny Vigo were in Bohol recently and we wonder if they did spend their second honeymoon there. If so, they couldn’t have chosen a more romantic place than Chocolate Hills.  Legend has it that those mounds of land, cone-shaped and almost symmetrical, came about when Arogo, a young and handsome giant, fell in love with an ordinary mortal named Aroya. When the latter passed away, the grief-stricken Arogo shed humongous tears that would later dry and become hills.

Jun told us it was a pity they didn’t get to meet up with Ma’am Fe Calope, who, at the time of their visit to the province, was in Manila.

See you in Laguna

Mark your calendar. On January 18, 11:30 a.m., Jun and Zeny Vigo are expecting all of us to be at their home in Calamba, Laguna, to celebrate the birthday of their lovely daughter  Zarah Jayne. Meeting place will be Keith dela Cruz’s clinic in Timog, Quezon City, and departure time will be 9:30 a.m. RSVP by calling up or texting Remy Tuazon. See you there!

Reunion photos

We are posting here the pictures taken during our successful class reunion held last July 12-13 at the Makiling Highlands in Calamba, Laguna. We would like to apologize for the delay. As you all know, the person responsible for updating the site has been remiss of his task since going on vacation in the Philippines. Nevertheless, he promised to write about the reunion and post all the other pictures (and videos) soon.

Birthday song for Jun

“Unknown to most of you, Jun is God’s answer to my prayers. That’s why I am so happy and proud for having him.  He’s so loving, responsible, understanding, a good provider, a father and a friend to our kids.”

Thus declared Zeny Cervantes when we asked her to say something about her husband Jun Vigo who is celebrating his birthday on July 1. And to the list of adjectives Zeny mentioned above, we would like to add the word funny because we always remember Jun as one with that wonderful sense of humor.

In case Zeny is looking for a birthday song to sing for Jun, she might as well consider this one:

Happy birthday, dear classmate and friend.
