We’re not sure if we have already posted this photo, but here’s another addition to our collection. Shown here are Mario Mercado (IV-1), the one holding a guitar, Ariel Dimali (IV-1) and Rolando Pilapil (IV-4). Venue of the photo shoot was LDHS Ventura Annex.
This photo was taken in October 2008, when classmate Ariel Dimacali was leaving for Bahrain. We just realized we haven’t seen or had much contact with him since then. It’s his birthday on February 4 and we would like to wish him all the best. We’ll try to organize something for Ariel when he comes back this year.
Ric Manuel is also celebrating his birthday this month, but we have yet to locate him. Any news?
A Pinay, wanting to earn some money, decided to hire herself out as a handyman-type and started canvassing a wealthy neighborhood. She went to the front door of the first house and asked the owner if he had any jobs for her to do. “Well, you can paint my porch. How much will you charge?”
The blond Pinay said, “How about pipty dollars?” The man agreed and told her that the paint and ladders that she might need were in the garage.
The man’s wife, inside the house, heard the conversation and said to her husband, “Does she realize that the porch goes all the way around the house?” The man replied, “She should. She was standing on the porch.”
Here are the pictures sent to us by our friend Ariel Dimacali. This is to let you know that he arrived in Bahrain safely. You can see Ariel here with his new colleagues.
Our friend Ariel Dimacali, after having been away from the group for so long, is again leaving us. Tomorrow, October 12, he is flying for Bahrain for another employment stint. Ariel (seated rightmost) and wife Vivian (second from left) are joined in the photo by the peps in a despedida held for him recently.
We wish Ariel happy trip. Take care and we’ll see you next year.

TEACHER: Correct. Now class, who discovered America ?
TEACHER: Why are you late, Frank?
FRANK: Because of the sign.
TEACHER: What sign?
FRANK: The one that says, “School Ahead, Go Slow.”
