The search for the missing members of Batch ’78 is still in full swing. This time, it is Alex Santos who has been recently “checkmated”, as our friend Chris Panlilio described how they found their classmate and got him into a drinking session.
Brunei-based Alex, who happened to be the class president of IV-2, is currently vacationing in the Philippines and it is his first time to be reunited with his former classmates.
The group met up for lunch at Rowena de Omaña’s house in Caloocan City before proceeding to attend the fiesta at Sonny Jarabe’s place.
Do you still have your baby photos with you? Please submit and we’ll ask everyone to identify who’s who. To kick off this series, here’s John Marte Marcella when he came into this world.
Remy Tuazon and Chie dela Peña have just sent us a new set of pictures of Batch ’78’s December 30 reunion, which are now added to this photo album.
Aside from calling her Ma’am Beth, you may now address our former journalism teacher as Mrs. President, by virtue of her being elected as president of LDHS Batch 1970. During their last month’s grand reunion homecoming, which was also attended by a number of US-based alumni, the class was unanimous in choosing Mrs. Bustamante-Hua to lead the pack.
