Fe Mamaril-Fauni, a member of the IV-1 Class, Batch 1971 and with whom we have been corresponding these past few days, sent in their own class picture (click image to enlarge).
Fe (3rd row, 8th from left) informed us they call themselves Barangay 71 and that approximately 28 batchmates are still active in their network. “We are scattered all over the world: Australia, Canada, Qatar, Sweden, USA and, of course, the Philippines,” she wrote in her e-mail. Fe herself is based in California.
The group still gets together whenever possible, said Fe. In May 2007, for instance, some members of the class had this mini-reunion in California:
