Mini-reunion

It was supposed to be just a plain meeting of a few peps to discuss some future reunion plans. But the get-together yesterday became a mini-reunion of sort when 14 members of the class showed up at Hap Chan Tea House in Market Market, Bonifacio Global City.

Jan 5 meeting

Zeny Cervantes, Reny dela Peña, Ruby Gaviola, Remy Tuazon, Nitz Mercado, George Hizon, Jun Vigo, Gil Buan, Didi Espiritu, Eddie Roberto, John Marcella, Larry Ramos, Keith dela Cruz

From the initial feedbacks that have come in, it is safe to say that it was, indeed, a resounding success. (Take a bow, Remy, Rorie, Lito and Keith.)

We are posting a number of pics here of yesterday’s gathering – courtesy of George. We are still awaiting more photos and personal accounts from those who attended.

Meantime, here are the peps sharing their thoughts on this important event in our class’ continuing history. We will add those of the rest as soon as we receive them.

Nitz: Hello, Lito! Congrats talaga for initiating this blog for such a great group. Through the website I came to know each one’s achievements sa buhay – personal, career, family, and all.

IV-1 peps, ang galing n’yo!

At nagkaron pa ng January 5 meeting! Ang saya really ng meeting – a lunch sponsored by Reny. Thank you, Reny. Happy trip and make a deeper study of you and your Lee (?!). Good luck!

He! he!

And I hope to have more of it. Thanks , Rorie, at pinagtyagaan mo din ako. Remy, thanks sa hospitality mo.

I love you all!!!

Zeny: Hello everybody! We had a lot of fun before lunch up to late in the afternoon yesterday. I am sure those who were not able to attend this get-together missed something memorable and wonderful and would regret their absence in the said occasion for the rest of their lives!

In the case of Lito and Dado who are presently working abroad, such great distance did not prevent them from sharing our laughters because they were able to talk to each one of us over the cellphones of Keith and Red George (except for Rorie who was not able to proceed to PNOC-EDC after our sumptuous lunch at Hap Chan in Market Market courtesy of Miss Reny Dela Peña who is leaving for London on January 10).

By the way, I would like to extend my sincerest THANKS and CONGRATULATIONS to the Site Team especially to Mr. Carlito Parungo. You’re REALLY GREAT!

Sorry to Eddie Boy that I have to talk about our get-together instead of first commenting on our Angono days because I just cannot hold my happiness about that recent event. Anyway, it’s never too late naman. You know Eddie, just like anybody who was able to visit your house in Angono, am truly grateful for your hospitality and I will never forget the experiences that we had during those days!

Bye for now and I do hope that this will be the beginning of our lasting friendship!

Remy: Nasabi na nila lahat. The only thing I can say is that ANG SAYA SAYA SAYA SAYA TALAGA NAMING LAHAT ON THAT DAY.

And you know, kayong mga wala, you missed one half of your life. Anyway, next kitakits dapat nandoon na kayo. Tentative schedule is on July 12, 2008. Thanks, Lito, and we missed you.

Lito: Ok, ok.

Hmmpp!

John: I’m so happy to have attended a meeting like this and I hope it’s not the last. Take care and let’s stay happy always.

Larry: The meeting yesterday, January 5, is very encouraging. I really enjoyed it and became nostalgic again. Hopefully this will continue. We have set some doable plans and sana we go for them. Seeing our classmates once again really brings back lots of happy reminiscences. Maraming salamat. Mabuhay tayong lahat!

Thanks. God Bless.

    dear all,

Pahabol lang po. Indeed it was a fun-filled day when we met last Jan 5. Too bad wala ang iba, and I am hoping that one day mabuo din ang IV-1 peps. I really couldn’t imagine that some of reclusive (exaggerated yata) IV-1 peps would come. Kakatuwa talaga they did. What I really enjoyed most was the presence of John. Talagang bumigay ka na ha? But you need not worry, MAGING SINO KA MAN, IV-1 ka pa rin. You are indeed very special (not special child ha!) and a living proof of one homily I heard from a priest from Pampanga. I love you, John.
