As promised, we are giving you an update on our dear classmate, Remy Tuazon.
Remy found out about the site when she and Keith crossed paths at Shopwise in Antipolo last Saturday. Small world, isn’t it? For those who do not know yet, both are now residents of Antipolo: Remy moved there after she got married in the ’80s, while Keith bought a house and lot in one of the city’s subdivisions a few years back.
Going back to Remy … She would like to extend her congratulations to all the people behind the site, saying this will really help reunite the class. At kumusta raw syempre sa lahat ng peps.
Remy has been working for Petrophil Corp. since March 1980, the former PNOC that was privatized in 1993. For 14 years she was with the company’s legal department, then moved to the Office of the VP Corporate Services and stayed there up to 2005. Since then, she has been working as executive secretary at the Office of the President/CEO, with Mr. Paul Aquino, a brother of Ninoy’s, as her boss.
Remy is married to Danilo Martin (see their pic during Zeny’s graduation party) and they have three children: Diana Rose, 25 years old, a graduate of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, now working for the Bank of the Philippine Islands; Dean Richard, 21 years old, a graduating architecture student at the Rizal Technological University in Mandaluyong; and Daniel Ron, 14 years old, a third year high school student at the Lourdes School Antipolo.
Remy also said she still communicates regularly with Renee dela Peña, who is now based in London. She promised to inform the latter about the site. And yes, Remy has managed to preserve her slumbook, the content of which she is more than willing to share with all of us soon.
Once again, let us all welcome Remy.
